This week Nostalgia Junkies invites Ramses Cruz from Cruz N' Retro back to the show. Alex and Cruz issue each other a challenge to see who can lose the most weight between beginning of June and Retro World Expo in Hartford, CT on August 24th. The boys then discuss the state of toy lines collaborating with other toy lines and merging intellectual properties. Alex and Cruz expand on how Hasbro is over-saturating the Transformers market both in their mainline and collaborations. Next the boys compare Fresh Prince vs. Saved By the Bell, Now That's. What I call Music vs. Kidz-Bop, and Skip-it vs. Moon Shoes in this week's This or That. Alex and Cruz then get into the Meat and Potatoes of the episode...The Best Saturday Ever! The two discuss what breakfast they're grabbing, what cartoons they're throwing on, what toy they'll play with, and what video game they'll be playing with afterwards. Finally Alex and Cruz end the show with 90s trivia. Who can answer the most questions?

This week Nostalgia Junkies invites video game influencer, Dayton/DmacGames to discuss all things Power Rangers. The boys open up conversation with a bit of how the two of them bonded over Fat Orange Cat beer in an instagram post, and the rest was history. Next they talk about Hasbro selling the toy rights to Playmates for Power Rangers. Alex and Dayton play a round of This or That covering, Megazord vs Dragonzord, Green ranger vs. White Ranger, and Lord Zedd vs. Ivan Ooze. They then cover elements from Power Rangers childhood from toys to videogames to the iconic Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers Movie. Finally, they close out the show with Alex quizzing Dayton on some Power Rangers trivia...does DMacGames have what it takes?

This week Nostalgia Junkies invites the store owner of Cruzn' Retro, Ramses Cruz, to sit down and discuss elements of the 90s nostalgia culture. Alex and Cruz talk about favorite toys, video games, and what got them into collecting. Next the boys transition into this week's This or That. Which would you choose: KB Toys or Toys 'R Us, Dunkaroos or Sharkbites, Nickelodeon Magazine or Disney Adventure? Alex and Cruz then get into the meat and potatoes of the episode...The Disney Afternoon Block. They test each other's cartoon theme song knowledge and rank which cartoon truly has the best theme song! Is it Ducktales, Darkwing Duck, Mighty Ducks...Disney had a lot of ducks!!! Alex discusses with Joe his recent trip to New York to see Marc Summers' Life and Slimes show. He even picked Joe up a little present. Then the boys go over the recent arrest of a Japanese man facing a $32,000 fine or 5 years in jail for Pokemon. Next the Nostalgia Junkies transition into their This or That segment. This episode centers around Super Smash Bros. questions...items on or items off, random fighter or choose your own, and static map or maps with hazards. Then the boys discuss favorite Super Smash Bros. memories and how the game has evolved since childhood. They even debate which characters they think they could beat in a one on one fight, and you got to hear what Joe says about Kirby! Finally, rounding out the show Alex quizzes Joe on Super Smash Bros trivia to commemorate 25 years since the original release. Can you get more right than Joe?

Then the Nostalgia Junkies discuss the rumors surrounding an upcoming Thundercats movie as well as new details for Inside Out 2. Next they get into this episode's This or That. The Nostalgia Junkies dive into the Disney Afternoon Block comparing: Darkwing Duck vs. Chip and Dale, Ducktales vs. Talespin, and Mighty Ducks vs. Gargoyles.
